UTM parameters for QR codes
To monitor your physical QR scans inside Google Analytics (GA4), you should append standard UTM parameters to your target URL before generating the code.
Structure your link like this:
https://yoursite.com/?utm_source=qr&utm_medium=print&utm_campaign=flyer
When users scan, Google Analytics instantly registers the source as "qr" and the medium as "print", allowing you to track in-person conversions accurately!
