Why Apple Wallet is a marketing superpower
Dynamic QR codes represent the entry point—but Apple Wallet passes establish a persistent, permanent engagement hub right inside your customer's pocket.
100% Offline Access
Passes are stored in the device's secure sandbox. Attendees can pull up event tickets or member cards instantly in cell-dead venues or offline locations.
Location & Time Alerts
Include geocoordinates or event dates. The pass automatically triggers lock-screen alerts the moment a scanner steps near your storefront, gate, or hotel.
Frictionless Activation
Banish the email inbox search. Users double-click their iPhone power button to open Apple Wallet. Ready to scan in 1 second flat.
Dynamic Push Updates
Change details on the fly. Point balances, seat changes, flight delays, or coupon codes update in real-time, accompanied by a system push notification.
Anti-Fraud Protection
Prevent screenshots and duplicate entries. Dynamically cycling credentials and secure signatures keep ticketing networks safe and verify ownership.
Zero Printing Costs
Say goodbye to thermal paper printouts, plastic cards, and paper mailers. Go green and save thousands in material and distribution overhead.
Frequently asked questions
Are Apple Wallet passes secure for event ticketing?
Absolutely. PassKit templates include digital signature verification. By combining dynamic QR redirects with secure backend signing, QRMaker passes prevent screenshot sharing or duplicate ticket check-ins at entry gates.
Do passes update automatically when details change?
Yes. All dynamic passes created in QR Maker support live push updates. If an event location changes, points are added to a loyalty card, or a flight is delayed, the pass automatically refreshes on the device and triggers a push alert.
How does geofencing / lock screen notifications work?
You can associate up to 10 geographic coordinates (SSID coordinates or coordinates of storefronts) when creating your pass. When the user passes within range, iOS automatically displays the card directly on their lock screen for fast scanning.
Do users need to install an external app to add passes?
No app is required to add or save passes. Apple Wallet is pre-installed on every iOS device. When a user scans the QR code or clicks a download link, the system prompts them with a preview of the pass, and a single tap adds it directly.
